There has been a family emergency for the past few weeks so things were a bit disrupted as news was changing from day to day. I haven’t had much time to sit down at the workbench so projects are on hold for now, but I’m hoping to get back to things soon now.
My full-time consulting contract will be coming to an end at the end of the year, and while there is a very good prospect of picking up full-time work again, I might have a lot more time to spend in the workshop soon.
My plan was to spend a lot of time last week and over the weekend sitting at the workbench and CAD package building a new project I’ve been thinking about for almost a year now, but we had a beautiful weekend here in New Jersey and I spent most of it outside instead. Yes, New Jersey can be quite beautiful despite all the jokes about the state. There are lots of good things going on in my personal life and I owe some time to the family to make up for spending a lot of evenings in the shop.
Maybe later this week I’ll start to get things going again.
