Postage Increases and Discontinued Products

Over the last five years none of our products has had a price increase, but costs associated with parts, shipping, and now the tariffs are starting to make some products cost more to make and ship than what I’m charging for them.

  • Effective May 1st, 2019, shipments to customers in the US for orders less than $50 will have a $5 shipping charge added.

Some products are going to be discontinued.  At this point I’ve got several dozen different items in stock, most of which contain common components, some not.  Some of the products have similar functionality, and others simply don’t sell much.  All of these items will be limited to whatever stock is left, then there won’t be any more:

If you are interested in any of those items, you should purchase them while they are still in inventory.  The shopping cart won’t let you order something once it is no longer in stock.

New KIM Clone Add-Ons

On my workbench I’ve been playing with a couple new things for the KIM Clone (rev 4) boards and have finally added them to the store.

First, there is the KIM Clone Motherboard:

And what goes into the motherboard?  The KIM Clone Prototyping Board!

For those of you who want just a basic KIM Clone, there are still a few of the older Rev 3 boards available.  They run all the same software as the current boards but do not have the expansion connectors.
