Out of Town 6/30 through 7/7/2018

From June 30th to July 7th, I will be out of town on a business related trip.  My email time will be limited and there will be no shipments made during this time.  If you want something right away, order no later than Thursday, June 28th so I’ll have time to get it mailed on Friday.

Shipments will resume the week after.

We got mentioned on Hackaday!

I got an email from someone mentioning a link from Hackaday, which we certainly follow, but somehow missed the special article covering VCF East.  At one point I had spoken to some people who were asking questions a bit different than the usual potential customers, and then they mentioned being from Hackaday.  It was excellent news to hear VCF East was getting large enough for Hackaday to come out, but then getting a mention was a real surprise!

“Garnering particular interest in the vendor area was the table for Corsham Tech, which was showing off a very slick KIM-1 clone, as well as new manufactured accessories for the original machine”

VCF East XIII: Another Day in Retro Paradise

I suspect a lot of my customers are readers of sites like Hackday, since we’re the kinds of people who like to build things, hack existing projects, and experiment.  If you haven’t look at Hackaday, I strongly suggest you take a good look at their site for all  kinds of cool ideas for things to try.

SS-30 Prototype Board

I’ve had this for a couple years now and have sold some at shows, but never quite got it onto our web pages until now.  This has a notch so it can fit into a real SWTPC system, so it can be used in more than just our motherboards.

I’ve used an earlier version of this board to do prototypes of other cards.  It’s far easier than manually wiring an experiment.  An SS-50 proto board has been on the to-do list for few years now, but there is another project that has to be finished first.
